Mood:Worship Position Application 2026-2027
This application is for those who are interested in being a Mood:Worship officer for the 2026-2027 school year! This includes the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer!
Here is a breakdown of what our club is about! Mood:Worships' mission is to create a welcoming community where students can grow in their faith, encourage each other, and spread the love of Jesus Christ. Our hope is to help strengthen CV students relationship with God so they go and disciple others, and serve our community through acts of kindness, compassion, and integrity!
Every officer is expected to give their all into this mission. Our officers will be held to an expectation to attend weekly officer discussions to discuss what the plan is for each upcoming meeting and be involved in the instagram (legitmwc) by sharing Bible verses or a message. Most importantly, our hope for this upcoming school year is for our officers to develop new ideas on how to spread the Word of God!

President: The President of the club must have a relationship with the Lord and has the heart to serve their community. The President is in charge of leading club meetings. That includes greeting, praying, and sometimes preaching a message to club members. In this position, you are in charge of creating the plan for each meeting unless other officers also have input on what to do for a meeting. The President is held to the expectation to collaborate with all officers and to be open to different ideas. You must have good team work, organizational skills, and a heart for setting a good example for nonbelievers. ALL APPLICANTS FOR THIS ROLE ARE EXPECTED TO BE WILLING TO STEP OUT OF THEIR COMFORT ZONE.

Vice President: The Vice President has a similar role. The VP must have a relationship with the Lord and has the heart to serve their community. Instead, the VP is in charge of taking over for the President in any areas they need help. That could be greeting, praying, or even taking over a meeting if the President is absent. The VP is also in charge of creating the Google slides for each meeting! The VP must have good team work, organizational skills, and a heart for setting a good example for nonbelievers.

Secretary: The Secretary is in charge of taking notes during club meetings, ICC meetings, and officer meetings. They also create a club roster to observe who comes to the meetings and adds anyone new to it. The Secretary is also in charge of the clubs Instagram. Whether that is creating videos to make our club known on CV campus, sharing Bible verses, making meeting reminders, or replying to anyone's DMS if they have questions. The Secretary must have good team work, organizational skills, and a passion to help spread our club on social media.

Treasurer: The Treasurer is in charge of donations, planning and hosting fundraisers, and processing purchase orders. They must sign off any necessary paperwork from the finance office. Especially for Fall Fest and the Multi-Cultural fair, keeping track with how much money is in the Mood:Worship account. The Treasurer is also in charge of creating physical fliers to hang around school for our club. Before hanging fliers, they need to be approved by Mr. Anderson, the ASB advisor. This job is a lot of responsibility and it requires good team work, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion in raising funds for the club.

ALL POSITIONS HAVE A SAY IN THE PLAN FOR EACH MEETING AND WHAT GETS POSTED ON THE INSTAGRAM. However, each position has their priorities that they are mainly in charge of. All officers will also have access to the Instagram account. Everything created on Instagram needs to be run by the President before posting. No position is more important than the other. In order for Mood:Worship to succeed, all officers need to work together.
