About SKEMA Finance Dubai

SKEMA Finance Dubai is the official finance association of SKEMA Business School on its Dubai campus, located in the heart of the DIFC. The association was created to connect students with the local financial ecosystem and provide real exposure to careers in finance through events, content, and direct interactions with professionals.

Our approach is deliberately different from traditional student associations: we operate with a smaller, highly committed team, a startup-like mindset, and a strong focus on execution, responsibility, and impact.

About the Dubai Campus Student Discussion

Whether you are joining SKEMA Dubai for one semester or a full academic year, moving to a new country comes with many questions. This session is designed to help you prepare for your arrival and make the most of your experience in Dubai.

We will introduce the Dubai Campus, explain how student life works, and share practical insights about living in the UAE. We will also present Dubai as a city, its opportunities, lifestyle, and why it has become a leading global hub for business, finance, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Beyond discovering the city, we will discuss how to approach Dubai and the wider Middle East depending on your personal goals, whether they are academic, professional, entrepreneurial, or simply cultural. You will also receive practical advice on accommodation, transportation, budgeting, daily life, and settling in smoothly.

Most importantly, this will be an open discussion where you can ask any questions about studying, living, networking, internships, or career opportunities in Dubai.

To conclude, we will briefly introduce SKEMA Finance Dubai, its mission, upcoming initiatives, and the growing student association ecosystem that aims to enrich campus life and create valuable opportunities for all students.
