Finance Intern (CEO Office)

Drug development today is like gambling: the industry is playing biology poker without knowing the odds of the game. 90% of attempts to make a drug fail, each development program is a coin flip costing hundreds of millions of R&D dollars. Despite the exponential growth of Human Health & Bio Data across the globe, biopharma decisions are still driven by hype, human intuition and bad animal proxies. Pheiron is on a mission to change that: we are the world’s first research firm focussed on generating biological alpha. We build causal foundation models of human biology to underwrite biology risk and fundamentally shift the priors of drug development, by anticipating what will work in humans before expensive trials begin. We work with drug developers and capital allocators to mitigate risk, reduce cost of failure, and contribute to a future without disease.
