Regional Accountant (NPT)

Role purpose  
As a Regional Accountant, you are responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records and accounting activities of the regional operation while coordinating closely with the HQ Finance team. You will handle daily financial transactions, ensure supporting documents are complete and accurate, perform reconciliations, and prepare timely financial reports and updates to support accurate accounting, strong financial control, and smooth communication between the regional office and HQ.
Role accountabilities 
● Communicate with the HQ Team and follow the instructions and SOPs from the HOD
● Handle daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records
● Manage AP/AR, bank transactions, and cash reconciliation
● Assist in monthly closing, ledger reconciliation, and financial reports
● Support stock, cost, and expense tracking
● Ensure documentation, compliance, and proper approval workflow
● Coordinate with internal teams for data accuracy (Admin, HR, Sales, Warehouse)
Job Requirements
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
● LCCI Level II/III preferred
● Experience required based on level
● Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and reconciliations
● Basic tax knowledge (CT, WHT, Commercial Tax)
● Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; accounting software experience is a plus
● Attention to detail, accuracy, and a responsible mindset
