The Search for Britain's Top Dogs (and the Humans Who Love Them)

From heroic hounds and brilliant trainers to unforgettable walks, superstar groomers and owners who go above and beyond, we want to hear about the dogs and people who deserve their moment in the spotlight.

There are six possible categories to enter, and you can enter yourself or nominate someone else. You don't have to enter all the categories.

Entries are free and close on 13 November 2026.

So, tell us your story, share the love and give your favourite dog (or dog person!) the recognition they deserve. đŸ¶đŸ„œ

Every category winner will receive a year’s supply of Peamutt Butter, including our much-loved Peamutt Squeezy and Peamutt Balls. The ultimate winner will take home a prize package worth more than £320, including a Pets at Home gift voucher, a Peamutt Butter bundle, a National Trust membership for a year of dog-friendly adventures, plus treats and goodies from Peamutt Butter’s brand partners.

Dog Trainer of the Year

We're looking for a trainer making a real difference through positive, reward-based training. What makes the trainer you are nominating exceptional? How have they helped dogs and owners? Share a success story and a supporting photo or video.

Dog Groomer of the Year

We want to recognise groomers who go above and beyond for dogs and their owners. Why does the person you are nominating deserve recognition? Share examples of outstanding care, customer stories and transformations.

Dog Hero of the Year

We are looking for a dog who has shown incredible bravery, loyalty or made a life-changing difference. Tell us your dog's story. What did they do? How has their actions impacted you or your community?

The Nuttiest Dog Walk Award

We are looking for the UK's funniest, muddiest or most adventurous daily walk. Where do you go? What makes it unforgettable? Share your funniest photo or video from your walks.

Man’s Best Friend Award

We want to celebrate the extraordinary bond between an owner and their dog. Tell us your story. What makes your relationship so special? When has your dog been there when you needed them most?

Enrichment Champion Award

We are looking for owners who go above and beyond to keep their dogs mentally stimulated. Tell us your story. What weird and wonderful things does your nominee do to entertain your dog? Any funny reasons why?
