Head of Content Application

We're on a mission to build the world's best media company for founders — and the newsletter is where it all starts. 125,000 people read Half Baked every day because the content is worth reading. We're hiring a Head of Content to make sure it stays that way, and gets a whole lot better.

This is a full-time role, and we're not precious about your background. We care about one thing: can you create content that people actually want to read? Whether you come from journalism, the startup world, media, or somewhere else entirely - if you've got strong opinions, sharp instincts for what makes a good idea, and the discipline to show up and produce every day, we want to hear from you.

What you'll own:

-Surfacing compelling startup ideas worth writing about

-Writing and producing our newsletters while maintaining the Half Baked voice (punchy, smart, and founder-first) -Helping to build our product demos and bringing them to the next level -Building and managing a content pipeline so we're never scrambling for ideas (which we are most of the time...)

What we're looking for:

-Someone with insatiable curiosity about business, startups and technology -A self-starter who takes ownership ownership and doesn't need hand-holding -Someone who loves the newsletter and understands our brand voice -Someone who's AI savvy or is willing to learn how to use the latest and greatest AI tools -The ability to produce consistently to a daily deadline, no exceptions
