L&D Shakers AI Fieldwork Cohort

A journey for L&D professionals to explore — together — how AI will  change our role.

About this cohort

What’s the one thing you’ve done with AI that changed how you think about your work?

Everyone is using AI. Almost no one has changed the way they actually work. The challenge isn’t learning AI — it’s redefining what L&D actually does because of it. That’s the territory this cohort works in.

This is a journey for L&D professionals with hands-on AI experience who want to deepen their practice alongside peers — exploring how AI can support learning design, content, coaching, and team enablement. Three working sessions, peer exchange, and one AI solution you'll bring back to your team — and then showcase to the rest of the community.

Who this is for

You use AI in your work already — not just for speed, but because you're trying to figure out what it changes about how you do your job.

You can bring a real challenge from your context — whether that's a use case you're building, a workflow you're redesigning, or a problem you have solved differently in the past.

You're willing to experiment in the open — share rough work, test ideas with peers, and leave with something concrete, even if your version of "quick" takes longer than four weeks.

1. Introduction

Tell us a bit about yourself — who you are and what’s the hardest question your practice is facing right now. (max. 150 words)

2. Contact details

3. What shapes or limits your current use of AI at work?

e.g., policies, approvals, data restrictions, team readiness, client confidentiality, or none — you have full latitude.

4. Tell us an example of where AI was part of your workflow

We care about your process, judgment, and the decisions you made — not how polished the output is. Walk us through a real example.

Walk us through a recent moment where AI was part of your design or work process. What were you trying to do, and what did you decide?

What came out of it? Describe the output, artefact, or change — however rough.

What did you have to navigate — organisationally, technically, or personally — to make this happen?

5. What you’re looking for — and what you’d bring

What would make this cohort a clear success for you?

Be specific — a skill, a prototype, clarity on a strategy, a way to talk about AI with your stakeholders.

What could you bring to the group?

A skill, a perspective, a hard-won lesson, a method, a design approach — anything from your practice.

How comfortable are you sharing work-in-progress with peers?

This cohort involves showing messy experiments and unfinished thinking. That’s by design.

6. Cohort sessions — can you attend?

We have limited spots and expect active participation in at least 3 of the 4 working sessions. Indicate which sessions you can attend:

Additional event: AI Transformation Café

June 2, 3:30PM CEST | 9:30PM EST. A community event that will inspire you before the cohort starts. Not part of the cohort, but a good preview of the territory we'll be working in. Join if you're curious. Let us know, we'll sign you up for this!

7. Anything you’d like add?

We review applications to assemble a cohort with complementary experience, contexts, and perspectives. We’ll be in touch within one week of your submission.

If you signed up and can’t make it, please let us know by email so we can offer your spot to someone on the waiting list.
