A hands-on introduction to analog photography, focusing on camera functions and the fundamentals of capturing images on 35mm film cameras with manual exposure mode.
Workshop topics include:
• Introduction to analogue capture
• Understanding your camera: how light becomes an image
• Film types: B&W, colour and chrome
• Lenses: focal lengths, macro, prime and zoom
• Manual focus and focusing distance
• Light meter use
• Manual exposure: ISO, shutter speed and f-stops
• Depth of field: shallow, deep and hyperfocal distance
• Motion: freezing, blurring and panning
• Composition and elements of design

Fee: €45 per person
