About the Class
Designed for committed intermediate to advanced skaters who want to progress over time in a small group setting meeting 2 to 3 times a month.
We'll cover elements such as edges, forwards and backwards crossovers, artistic positions, turns, spins, jumps and, toe stops moves.
The class structure allows for exercises to be tailored to the group, and variations will always be offered depending on each skater's level.
While we explore more complex movements (like one foot spins or jump sequences), you don't need to have them mastered to join. If you are not quite there yet I'll offer alternative drills to help you build up toward those skills safely and progressively.
In addition to practical work, we'll also dive into technical concepts that help you better understand the mechanics behind movements. This insights will give you a clearer picture which will help you progress much faster.
The 2 hours format also gives us space for warm ups, spinner, flexibility drills, and a well rounded session that balances theory, practice and artistic expression.

All participants must wear personal protective equipment during the roller skating sessions accept responsibility for any injuries caused by or as a result of ignoring the recommended use of safety gear. Artist On Skate / Lujan Cabrera does not accept responsibility for any injuries caused by or as a result of default roller skates or safety gear. All necessary precautions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants will be taken. Participants with physical and/or medical conditions which may be worsened or triggered by roller skating should look for advice from a qualified expert before participating. Participants should not suffer from a physical and/or medical condition which may have the effect of making it more likely that the participant or others are involved in an accident which could result in injury to themselves or others. Participants voluntarily participate in roller skating sessions, knowing that the associated physical activity may be hazardous to themselves and their property. Participants who are pregnant or postnatal should not participate in any sessions. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Sessions begin and end at the advertised time, all participants are required to wear knee pads and wrist guards, participants must be in good health to participate in the classes. Pregnant skaters are not permitted to participate. Purchased classes and courses are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellations made at least three weeks prior to the start date may be eligible for a credit or course deferral. Missed classes within a course are non-refundable and non-transferable. Unforeseen circumstances may require rescheduling a class which will be notified. If the class cannot be rescheduled you are eligible for the refund of the individual day class or you can have a credit for a future class. We may take photographs and videos during the class for marketing purposes. If you do not want to be recorded or have your image used for promotional purposes please let us know. Minimum Participants Policy: If the minimum of 6 is not reached, the class will be canceled and full refunds issued
