NCCER Core teaches the essential knowledge and hands-on skills every tradesperson needs, including:
* Jobsite and workplace safety (OSHA-aligned)
* Construction math
* Introduction to hand and power tools
* Basic construction skills
* How to read simple construction drawings
* Rigging and material handling
* Jobsite communication and professionalism
* Hands-on training in electric and plumbing skills (non NCCER classes provided by River City Hope Street)
By the end of the program, students gain confidence, practical skills, and a clear understanding of what to expect in their chosen trade.
