We host small, friendly events at neighborhood businesses, often with 12–15 attendees. We intentionally keep many of our events small to create a more personal atmosphere and give people the opportunity to actually connect, meet others, and build the sense of community that FBB is all about. Our members are often in their 20s–40s, socially active, and looking for local spots to discover and support.

If you'd like to get your business in front of engaged locals while helping build community, we'd love to partner with you.

Sponsorship helps us keep events accessible while giving your business warm, organic visibility. It's simple, community-driven marketing, nothing big or pushy, just genuine local connections.

In-Kind Sponsorships 🌟

Prefer to contribute goods, services, space, or an experience instead of a cash contribution? We'd love to hear what you have in mind.

In-kind partnerships can include things like complimentary classes or experiences, venue space, food or drinks, samples, tickets, activities, workshops, demonstrations, or other offerings that could support an FBB event or give our members something new to try.

You don't need to fit into a specific package, we're open to creative ideas and partnerships that make sense for both your business and our community.

Financial Sponsorship

Financial sponsorships are another way businesses can support FBB while getting meaningful visibility within our community.

🤝🏽 Community Ally

Duration: Flexible; choose 1, 3, 6, or 12 months, or an open-ended arrangement.

Brand banner placements on FBB’s Heylo group profile, event pages, and member emails throughout the sponsorship term.

One social media post per month featuring the sponsor, shared across FBB’s social media channels. The post must tag the sponsor’s official account and clearly disclose the sponsorship using #Sponsored near the beginning of the caption.

All content must align with Friends Beyond Boston’s mission of fostering genuine friendship, social connection, and welcoming community experiences. FBB retains final approval over all content.

🤝🏽 Local Friend

Duration: 3 months.

Brand banner placements on FBB’s Heylo group profile, event pages, and member emails throughout the sponsorship term.

One social media post per month featuring the sponsor, shared across FBB’s social media channels.

One dedicated Heylo announcement per month. FBB will adapt the messaging to reflect the community’s voice and tone. All content must align with FBB’s mission and values, and FBB retains final approval over all content.

🌟Community Experience Partner

Duration: 3 months.

Brand banner placements on FBB’s Heylo group profile, event pages.

One social media post per month featuring the sponsor, shared across FBB’s social media channels, with sponsor tagging and #Sponsored disclosure.

One dedicated Heylo announcement per month, distributed via email and push notification, featuring custom text from the sponsor’s brand kit and adapted to FBB’s voice and tone.

One existing FBB event per month designated as the sponsored event, with a sponsor banner displayed on the event page. The sponsored event may include on-site signage or products provided by the sponsoring brand or business, as well as a shout-out from the host.

Any requests regarding event location or other details must fit within FBB’s established event format and community values. Sponsorship does not require a minimum attendance or event capacity, and FBB retains control over event planning and format.
