Light Dark Light CIC has been commissioned by Creative Scotland to carry out an initial piece of research exploring how individuals and businesses working across Scotland’s arts, screen and creative industries are engaging with digital platforms and the rapidly evolving creator economy to support and grow their work. A key part of this activity looks at how online tools are being used to reach audiences, build communities, and generate income, as well as where and why some decide that these models are not the right fit.

This survey is fully anonymous. Your responses will be stored securely by Light Dark Light CIC, shared with Creative Scotland for research purposes only, and handled in full accordance with UK GDPR. All data will be analysed and presented in summary form for internal and external reporting and published materials. No individual or business will be identifiable from completing this survey.
