Transcend UW is the premiere student organization for entrepreneurship, startups, and innovation at UW–Madison. We encourage collaboration between majors, disciplines and areas of expertise. We intend to create an environment that inspires entrepreneurship and innovative ideas, equips students with the tools and networks to achieve their vision and launch viable ventures.
Our utility comes from the vast network of alumni and professionals from the Madison area and beyond which we regularly call on for inspiring talks and informative workshops that our members can engage with to expand their knowledge beyond their curriculum.
Our core purpose is to enhance, support and inspire the UW-Madison student community to create innovative ideas and entrepreneurial ventures that will change the world.
This is not just a “club” — we’re looking for proactive, creative, and committed people who want to make an impact and shape UW-Madison's entrepreneurial culture. We hold each other to high expectations: owning your mistakes, taking feedback well, treating everyone with respect, and initiating without being asked. If that's not how you operate, this won't be the right fit.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. We schedule interviews as they come in and roles close once filled, so apply early. Final deadline is Thursday, October 1 at 11:59pm.
