1. Who we are.
Thursday Stories is organised by Dreams and Dreams, 2301, 23/F, Bayfield Buidling, 99 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong ("we"). Events take place at Dragon-i, Hong Kong, which is a separate venue operator.
2. What we collect.
When you request access: first name, last name, mobile number, email address, Instagram handle, your optional answers, and your choices about news and photography. We also keep the status of your request (accepted, waiting list, declined, confirmed, attended). At the event: photos and videos.
3. Why we use it.
To review requests and manage the guest list. To contact you about your request and the event (confirmation, reconfirmation, practical information). If you agree, to send you news about future editions. If you agree, to publish photos and videos of the event. To run the event safely and improve it.
4. Photos and video.
Photos and videos are taken during Thursday Stories. If you gave your consent, images in which you appear may be published by Thursday Stories, Dragon-i and Hugo Belloy on social media, on our website and in our communications. If you prefer not to appear, tell our team at the door or the photographer and we will avoid you. You can ask us to remove an image at contact@thursdaystories.com and we will remove it from our channels within [48 hours].
5. News about future editions. |
We only send news if you chose to receive it. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time at contact@thursdaystories.com, free of charge. We do not sell your data and we do not give it to anyone for their own marketing.
6. Who receives your data.
The Thursday Stories team and service providers that help us run the guest list and send messages, such as Carrd (website), Tally (forms), Airtable (guest list), Make (automation), Brevo (emails) and WhatsApp. Some of these providers store data outside Hong Kong. Dragon-i receives only the names on the door list for the evening. We do not share your data further unless the law requires it.
7. How long we keep it.
We keep guest data for 1 year after your last interaction with Thursday Stories, then if you ask us to we will delete your information. Published images may remain part of our communications until you ask for removal.
8. Security.
Access is limited to the team. Guest data is kept in password-protected tools with two-factor authentication where available.
9. Your rights.
You may ask to see or correct the data we hold about you, withdraw a consent, or opt out of news at any time by writing to contact@thursdaystories.com . We reply as soon as possible and within the time required by Hong Kong law.
10. Changes.
We may update this notice and will change the date above when we do.
