IMLO Judging Application

Thank you for your interest in judging the International Machine Learning Olympiad (IMLO). IMLO invites high school and undergraduate students to apply machine learning to real-world problems.

We are seeking judges with research experience in machine learning and a completed bachelor’s degree or higher. Judging is remote and paid per report, with approximately ninety minutes required for each report.

Each submission is independently reviewed by two judges across four criteria: the story behind the work (35 points), real-world feasibility (30 points), technical soundness (25 points), and clarity of writing (10 points). Judges provide written reasons for their scores, and every entrant receives feedback. Differences greater than ten points are referred to a third judge. Entrants’ schools and countries are withheld from judges.
