Out in the Open Winter 2026 Writing Retreat Application

Yes, what you've described meets my needs.

I am able to travel on my own or have transportation to the retreat location.

I will need carpool or other transportation support to attend the retreat.

Something else, please reach out to me to discuss transportation.

A double room with some input from participants to coordinate a good roommate match works for me.

I live nearby and want to commute* to campus during the day and stay at my own home at night (food and all other amenities provided besides a place to stay overnight). *Commuting spots are offered at the same value as residential spots, and living nearby does not require participants to commute.

I need a single room in order to participate in the retreat.

I understand the health and safety precautions described and agree to mask and/or take COVID tests if requested.

What you have described does not work for me.

I have questions about this, I will reach out to you at HB@weareoutintheopen.org

No, this does not apply to me at this time.
