At Cabaret Central, we aim to champion artists, producers and audiences to showcase the best in the UK. We are excited to help you promote your show (for free)!!
Why submitting?
- You will gain visibility by accessing visitors who are curious about cabaret events but might not yet be part of your direct audience
- You will be included in our weekly newsletter until your show takes place
- Your show will be posted on our Instagram
- You will contribute to a wider effort to showcase brilliant UK-based cabaret!
How does this work and timelines?
- After submission, your event will be reviewed (by a human!)
- We aim to process requests and publish events at least twice per week (usually on Wednesday and Sunday, but schedule depending)
- When accepted, it will be published on our website and included in the newsletter and instagram calendar
What can be submitted?
- Any show fitting a wide "cabaret definition". Think Burlesque, Drag, Cabaret Comedy, Variety, etc.
- You can submit several shows at once (up to 5)
What will not be accepted
- Anything outside of the UK (for now)
- Workshops and classes
- Partial submission or events with missing info
We’re serious about protecting this space: only shows that contribute to raising industry standards, create a safe and inclusive environment and pay performers fairly will make the cut.
- Shows that do not offer fair pay for their performers (exception for charity gigs, scratch nights and competitions)
- Event organisers that have been reported as exploitative, racist, trans-exclusionary or any behaviour deemed hateful or unsafe for their performers
- Please note that rejections are final and non-negotiable
