Understanding Local Wellness Attitudes and Needs in Stirling

You are invited to participate in a web-based online survey about local awareness, trust, and communication preferences around wellness and recovery services in Stirling.

You have been invited to participate because you are aged 18 or over and live in, study in, or frequently visit Stirling. This survey is part of a research project being conducted by MSc Marketing students at the University of Stirling. It should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

Please read through this information before agreeing to participate.

Background, aims of project 

This research is part of a consultancy project for Nour Wellness Hub, a local wellness and recovery business in Stirling. The aim of the project is to understand how people in Stirling perceive wellness and recovery services, how much they trust them, and how they prefer to receive information about them.

The findings will be used to support practical marketing recommendations for Nour Wellness Hub.

Do I have to take part?

No. Your participation is voluntary. You can choose not to take part or exit the survey at any time before submitting your response by closing the browser.

Once you submit the questionnaire, it may not be possible to withdraw your response because the survey will not collect your name or contact details.

Are there any potential risks in taking part?

There are no foreseeable risks involved in taking part. The survey will not ask for detailed medical history or personal contact details. 

Are there any benefits in taking part?

There will be no direct benefit to you from taking part in this research. However, your responses may help us understand how local wellness services can communicate more clearly and effectively. 

What happens to the data I provide?

Your answers will be treated confidentially. The survey will not ask for your name, email address, or contact details. The data will be stored in password-protected files and used for academic research purposes only.

The research team, module supervisor or Nour Wellness may have access to the research data. The findings will be used in the final 10,000-word consultancy report.

Will the research be published?

The research will be used for a postgraduate group consultancy report at the University of Stirling. 

Who has reviewed this research project?

The ethical approach of this project has been approved via the University of Stirling General University Ethics Panel.
