Simply go with whoever shouts at you the loudest.

Look up which manager has the most shares in the company and kiss their arse.

Try to assist all of them in the beginning.  Observe which manager seems to lead in the planning meetings and who’s ideas carry the day.  Then focus most attention and praise on that person.

Kiss up to the boss with the most 3 and 4 letter credentials next to their name.

What’s your ideal way to stay motivated?


Keep the new hefty subscription rate but throw in some perks such as more extensive  on site support.

Apologize humbly and go back to the original subscription rate.

Prepare a glamorous multimedia presentation, showing glossy financial charts with ever bigger numbers. When leading the presentation, constantly repeat the main industry terminology combined with words like “transformative” and “groundbreaking”.

Do a 5 minute intro with the limited knowledge you have about the company’s performance, then delegate the rest of the presentation to the antisocial dude in R&D who “knows his stuff”.

Put together an abbreviated 5 minute presentation covering the most generic and safest issues facing the company. Assign the remaining 25 minute to showing cute cat videos on Youtube.

Immediately schedule a meeting with your manager and politely decline the role directly to them.  Explain that the assignment does not match your skillset and risk dissapointing them.

Hold a company town hall and brainstorm with your most senior staff innovative products that are low risk and high reward to manufacture.
