HGV Class 1 Driver - Bulk Tipper

📍 Selby | Immediate start💷 £15.00–£17.00 per hour, depending on shift pattern and experience

We’re recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver on behalf of our client for bulk tipper work in the Selby area.

This varied role involves driving all-electric HGVs, carrying wheat, grains and animal feeds, with shunting duties and farm collections and deliveries across local and wider rural routes.

Shift patterns

Monday to Friday, with additional weekend hours available.Starts between 05:00 and 08:00, or a fixed 08:00–20:00 shift.

Your responsibilities

Complete bulk tipper runs safely and efficiently.Carry out farm collections, deliveries and shunting duties.Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.Follow drivers’ hours, road transport and site safety requirements.

What you’ll need

Valid UK HGV Class 1 Category C+E licence.Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.Previous Class 1 experience preferred, with confidence handling bulk tipper work.Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations.A reliable, punctual approach and the ability to work independently.Preferably no more than 6 licence points, subject to client requirements.
