1324 House is selecting a small founding cohort of artists, designers, writers, performers, musicians, filmmakers, and cultural builders for its first summer residency.
This application is meant to give us a feel for your practice, your way of living alongside other people, and what you might bring into the house. (don't overthink it!)
We are looking for artists with a real practice, respect for communal living, and genuine interest in helping shape the first season of 1324 House.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Priority goes to early applicants and those seeking the full summer. Spaces are limited and filled as the cohort comes together.
Please include a website, portfolio, IG, Are.na, Soundcloud, writing sample, reel, or any link that gives us a real sense of your work.
What about the house, the residency, or the founding cohort feels timely to you right now?
This does not need to be a polished project proposal. We want a sense of what you are trying to make possible.
This could be artistic energy, skills, rituals, hospitality, documentation, food, music, critique, care, production, or simply the way you hold a shared creative space.
