- Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program or have completed a bachelor’s degree within the past two years (2025 or later)
- Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in public policy and the legislative process
- Availability to live in Austin for the duration of the fellowship
- Willingness to work long hours, including weekends and holidays as needed, during the legislative session
- No prior legislative session experience required
