Microgrants for Emergency Prepping: Application

Hi pals! Welcome to my little experiment in giving & receiving.
I'm delighted to be able to redistribute money in this way right now, to enable more folks to do a little emergency prep during such uncertain times.
I'll be giving out 10 microgrants of $250 each, with recipients chosen via a lottery. There's nothing you need to do to "prove" your financial circumstances – this is all done on an honor system wherein I trust that only the folks who truly need this money will apply. (With that said, I do reserve the right to remove applications that for whatever reason feel misaligned with the goals and intention of these grants. I don't think this will happen, but wanted to name it anyway!)
The application deadline is Wednesday April 8, 2026 and recipients will be notified by email (and paid via their chosen method) the next day.
