Submit a building

Help us build a picture of neglected buildings across the UK.

CADO (Communities Against Delinquent Ownership) is run by Kinship Works. We map buildings that have been empty or neglected for a long time and matter to the people around them. See which buildings go on the map.

We’re collecting information about empty, neglected and at-risk buildings to understand where they are, why they matter to local communities, and what has happened to them.

Your submission will help us build the CADO map and strengthen the evidence around buildings that people care about but that are being poorly looked after.

You don’t need to know everything about the building to take part. If you don’t know something, answer “Not sure”. Questions marked Optional can be left blank.

Before anything is published, the CADO team will review the information, check the building’s location, and make sure any photos are suitable to use.

The form should take around 5 minutes to complete.

Can’t use the form? Email cado@kinship.works with the building’s location and what you’ve noticed.
