Jelly's Art Commissions

I work a full time job outside of art commissions, please bare this in mind, your patients is greatly appreciated.

I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. This includes canceling your order with no refund do to ill behavior. 

I will not work with anyone under the age of 18. Clients under the age of 18 will be required to add a parent or guardian to the communication thread (group chat, cc on emails, etc.) as I will only accept payment from someone over 18.

Clients must present a clear, digital reference sheet of their characters. Unless the commission is a custom design. I am willing to work from 3D models such as VR avatars, but you must provide good photos.​ I am also willing to work off of photos of fursuits, but again, you must provide good photos for me to reference

Failure to provide good reference images will result in me either not taking on your commission or adding a design fee that will be discussed. A "good" reference image includes at least 1 full view of the character that is flat colored/not shaded or includes flat colors to pick from. This lessens confusion about the design of the character and provides a smoother commission process for both parties.

Reference pictures for poses, expressions, and backgrounds are greatly appreciated but not required.

I will send works in progress at various stages and will not move forward until the client is happy with each stage.I will make any minor changes at any point free of charge but any major changes after the line art has been started will be charged extra depending on how much is being changed.

Do not remove my signature or watermark from the artwork.

Please fill out the form if you want to commission me. This helps me with work flow and staying organized. You are more than welcome to contact me with questions before filling out the form. (You don't need the magic word for general questions.)

It is not my responsibility to hunt down your new accounts. If my attempts to reach out are met by zero response after one month of trying, I will give a final warning of 48 hours notice before I cannel the commission with no refund. PLEASE reach out to me if your original method of contact becomes compromised. It is up to you to let me know if your method of contact changes.

For orders under $150 USD all payment MUST be made up front before any work can begin.

All payment must be made through PayPal using USD

I do have Venmo and Cashapp if PayPal isn't possible, but I do much prefer using PayPal​

Orders over $150, payment can be done 50% up front and 50% before line art is started.

Once the sketch has been started, an 80% refund can be issued. Once the sketch has been confirmed with the client and the line art has been started, only 50% will be refunded.

After Line art has been approved I will no longer be issuing refunds unless I experience a life event that prevents me from completing the art piece in a timely manner at my own descretion. 

Finished pieces are for personal use only! (Unless otherwise discussed, more info on that further down).

When reposting to socials, you must credit me for the work. 

DO NOT RESELL MY WORK! It was made for you and you alone, all art produced by me still belongs to me.

I will not use it for any other purpose outside of work examples and social media posts. You still retain the rights of your characters.​

IF the art was made specifically for commercial use (for merchandise, etc.) That is the only exception, however you must include my credit in the item description or somewhere on the website or listing. Commercial use with cost an addition fee that will be discussed.

I do not normally work with deadlines, however, if the deadline is reasonable, we can discuss.

I work based on a queue, sometimes working on 1 - 2 pieces at once. I will let you know when I have started work on your piece.

If I have not sent a WIP (work in progress) after 1 week from the previous WIP or message, feel free to ask for updates. Do not pester me about updates, I work a full-time job outside of doing art and running my social media pages.

Most pieces should not take more than 2 months once work has been started. I will try my best to keep you informed about the process of your piece should anything come up on my end that may delay the completion time.

Again, I work a full time (40hr week) ​job, and I do not force myself to work on art when I'm not feeling it. This ensures you receive a good quality drawing in the end.

As stated above, under "General Terms" I do not work with characters who don't have proper reference images. However, I do take design specific commission. These types of commissions are ONLY available as ref sheets when I am offering that style of commission. 

Google images are NOT a proper references, however, I can use them for inspiration for a design commission. I will not steal or copy preexisting designs. I'm more than happy to make something unique for you.

There are a few exceptions ​to this; you only have a fursuit partial and just want a bust/shoulder up piece. The characters's design is simple and wouldn't require too much extra communication. There may be a small fee, but I'll still take on the commission.

Design commissions are very unique, and something I enjoy doing from time to time but there are some more specific rules to go along with this sort of commission.

I am more than willing to work from written descriptions, however I much prefer something like a mood board or color samples and a theme. If you choose to use a written description, be as detailed as you can.

Since there will be much more communication with this type of commission, there are going to be additional fees, especially if you have no visual references for me to go off of.

Unless I am still in the sketching phase, I do not offer upgrades (1 view ref --> 2 view ref, etc.) These kinds of commissions already take up a lot of my time with all the extra communication, please know what you want in the beginning. 

Since this type of commission takes a longer time to complete, it may take me closer to 3 months to finish. Your patience is appreciated.

I am experimenting with more adult themes, feel free to ask if interested. NSFW pieces will cost an additional fee.

Extreme Gore

Overly complex characters (rare that this'll happen but it still could, don't be afraid to ask)

Anything political, religious, harmful, offensive, etc. I do not want to create something that will cause a group of people harm or discomfort.
