Front-End Engineer - XO Market

XO Market is building the standard for user-generated prediction markets, where any podcaster, YouTuber, or creator can launch markets instantly and monetize their audience.

We are early, ambitious, and moving fast. This is not a corporate role. This is for someone who wants to build something category-defining.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Frontend Engineer who ships fast and cares deeply about the product.

This role is a mix of:

- UI/UX implementer

- Performance obsessive

- Real-time systems builder

- Design-to-code translator

- Product co-owner

What You Will Actually Do

Trading & Market Interfaces

- Build fast, intuitive trading UIs for prediction markets

- Implement real-time order books, charts, and live price feeds

- Own the full experience from market creation to settlement

- Make complex financial data feel simple

Performance & Reliability

- Obsess over load times, render performance, and perceived speed

- Build WebSocket-powered live data flows that don't break

- Write components that scale to thousands of concurrent users

- Catch issues before users do

Product Craft

- Work directly with design and product to shape what gets built

- Push back when something won't work - propose a better way

- Move from mockup to production-quality UI fast

- Own features end-to-end, not just your slice of them

Creator & Embed Tooling

- Build embeddable market widgets for creators and partners

- Make XO droppable into any platform in minutes

- Think about third-party developer experience

Iteration & Experimentation

- Instrument your own work - track what users actually do

- Kill bad UI fast, double down on what converts

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years building production applications

- Strong with TypeScript, state management, and WebSockets

- Experience with Web3 / wallet / account integrations (Wagmi, Privy etc.) - Strong Web3 Experience, power users and veterans wanted

- Eye for design - you know when something looks wrong

- Comfortable working directly from Figma without hand-holding

- High agency. You find the problem, fix it, tell someone later.

Location

Dubai-based or willing to relocate. This is non-negotiable. We are building in person. Remote applications will not be considered.
