GTM Field Engineer

We are founder-led and at our size that means you're in the room with them, on the calls, in the decisions, shaping the product and the pitch. As one of our first 50 employees, you'll play a crucial role in building on our culture rather than inheriting one. We argue to learn, not to be right. We ship fast, because working beats perfect. When we lose, we learn from it; when we win, we win together.
Your title is where you start, not where you stay, and there's room to grow into the work you're drawn to. Our team is 50/50 men and women with over 12 languages spoken.
If that sounds like your kind of team, we'd love to meet you.

About the role

We seek an exceptional, full-stack software developer with high technical competency and intellectual curiosity to join our team. To succeed, you must enjoy thinking in systems and additionally possess some combination, but not all, of DevOps, data engineering, or ML/data science work experience at scale. Most engineering roles at Wisy are customer-facing, and you must have the soft skills to design and articulate well-engineered solutions to ambiguous problems.

As a GTM Field Engineer, your core objective is to combine direct product feedback from the field with the execution of commercial sales opportunities. The two feed each other: what you learn on the ground makes you better at winning deals, and the relationships you build along the way give you better insight. You will work closely with our sales team and advisors and report to the GTM team. Your impact is measured equally on product improvements and sales conversions. Neither half is a side job.

Location: US (Latin America)

In this role you will:

• Gather actionable insight from the people who use the product on the ground, including store owners, merchandisers, and sales reps.

• Run technical discovery for pilots: map the customer’s store and distributor workflows and assess whether the product fits.

• Support customers directly in the field through deployments, pilots, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), staying with them from kickoff through go-live and owning the path to commercial conversion.

• Lead demos and working sessions with distributors and field teams, partnering with sales and advisors across the cycle and building on existing relationships to drive long-term customer conversions.

• Escalate issues from live deployments to engineering with clear reproduction details.

• Deliver structured, organized, and timely feedback so our product operations team can act on it quickly. We want clear insight, not raw data dumps.

• Spot patterns across accounts and translate what you hear into clear product priorities.

What we value:

• High Ownership & Intensity: This is not a 9-to-5 team.

• Bias for Action: You take initiative and move quickly, even with ambiguity.

• Collaboration Over Ego: You work well with others, seek feedback, and respect every perspective.

• Curiosity & Growth Mindset: You ramp yourself into new territory rather than waiting to be trained.

• Customer Obsession: You build with the end user in mind and align work to real outcomes.

• Trust & Transparency: You communicate openly and own your responsibilities.

Required skills:

• Mid-level experience (roughly 3+ years) in a customer-facing technical role, such as field engineering, solutions or sales engineering, implementation, customer success, or technical account management.

• Comfort engaging with non-technical users in the field and earning their trust.

• Experience supporting deployments, pilots, or UAT for a software product.

• Ability to write clearly and organize feedback into a form a product team can use.

• Commercial instinct: comfortable working a sales opportunity alongside a sales team.

• Fluent Spanish and English, written and spoken.

• Based in Latin America.
