Civic Roots Foundation’s Black Excellence Summit and Networking Social in celebration of Black History Month. Both events are completely FREE and open to all demographics. You are welcome to register for one or both events.

Networking Social
• February 20 | 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
• CORE Science Conference Room, Memorial University
• Cocktail-style reception with light food and beverages
• A space for community connection, dialogue, and celebration
Black Excellence Summit
• February 21 | 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• The Lantern, 35 Barnes Road, St. John’s, NL
• Breakfast, lunch & refreshments included
• Featuring speakers, panel discussions, workshops, artistic performances, exciting prize giveaways and more
✨ This is a must-attend event honouring Black excellence, leadership, creativity and culture in Newfoundland & Labrador.
