TPM Community Survey 2026

TPM has stepped into 2026 with a lot of clear goals in mind. The intention of this survey is to actualise those goals by understanding the needs and desires of our community better than we may be currently. We want to serve you all as best as we possibly can- and to achieve this, to make TPM an organisation you can truly believe in, we would love to hear your voices.
Everything we aim to do as an organisation, we do for you.
We cannot make any change by merely making assumptions, all feedback we receive, we will take to heart. Your experiences, your opinions and your hopes for the future mean everything to us.

Despite this, we understand that not everyone may have the same input for a survey such as this. Thus, we want to emphasise to everyone providing answers that while we would appreciate as much feedback as possible, all questions on this survey are entirely optional.

If you have any accessibility issues or questions while answering this form, please do not hesitate to contact us at transpridemcr@gmail.com or DM us on Instagram!

SECTION 1: WHO ARE YOU?

Name (can be a nickname, username, codename, or emoji you just like, anything identifiable)

Are you Transgender*?

[Do you identify as trans, non-binary, gender diverse or anything else that falls under the umbrella of not identifying exclusively as cisgender?]

Please note, if you do not currently have a definitive answer, you have no obligation to select an option. However- if you are currently exploring your transness and you'd like to see how it feels selecting 'yes', we encourage you to do so!

There is more to identity than Transness. While TPM does focus on outreach for trans people, knowing the intersections of our community is deeply important to us and that work! Would you care to share any of those identities with us? (e.g. race, disability, poverty)

SECTION 2: WHAT ARE WE TO YOU?

Trans Pride Manchester was recently taken over by a new team! How can we best represent you and our community? What do you want TPM to be?

As part of our new team's efforts, we have drafted up a list of goals/intentions for our work moving forward, please feel free to take a look:

- Different activism groups are connected and part of a community that can ensure its own safety from violence and discrimination.

- Trans people are connected and welcome everywhere but also have access to specific queer/trans hubs and social events.

- Trans people are represented everywhere from leadership to media.

- There's no expectation of what 'trans' means or looks like, and trans people are free to express themselves/present however they'd like.

- Trans art is vibrant, thriving and present within our city (We facilitate spaces and options for trans art to take the space it deserves in plain view, without fear or censorship)

- We are a board of trans and non-binary directors with the shared desire to better the lives of trans people and assist in the advancement of our rights.

- We stand with the trans people of Manchester for the liberation of all groups beside and alongside trans liberation, and that we are united against all forms and systems of oppression.

- As Trans Pride Manchester, we want to create an accessible event for all, to protest for our rights as trans people, celebrate our existence, learn from others and support people in our community.

- As a trans led organisation that exists in support of the trans community in Manchester, we want to help build a more equitable world for all where trans people have access to healthcare, gender recognition, community and support.
