I want to be a host

Thank you for your interest in hosting an event in Croton-on-Hudson during Peace, Love, & Community! We encourage everyone to watch this short video which explains more about this volunteer event, but feel free to skip to the questions below if you know enough and you're ready!

Important note: Hosts are welcome to provide their own musical act, but we are also able to pair you with someone who has the same availability.

Where will you host this 30 minute concert?

What kind of musical act are you interested in hosting? Feel free to choose multiple.

There will be some 16 and 17 year-olds who are participating with their guardian's permission. Would you host these younger musicians or would you prefer to host adult musicians?

I am happy to host the younger artists if that is how it works out

I would prefer to host artists who are adults

1. As a potential host I have a safe, welcoming space to host the musical act

2. I plan to invite at least ten guests to this space for the show

3. As a host my intention is to uphold the spirit of the event which is focused on building community and promoting peace and love

Hold Harmless Agreement

1. Parties: This agreement is made between the Croton Council on the Arts and the host.

2. Event description: This agreement covers the 30 minute musical event being held by the host between the dates of October 16-23 2026. The exact timing will be confirmed by both parties by the end of September 2026.

3. Terms: The host agrees to release, protect, and hold harmless the CCoA from any and all claims, losses, damages, or injuries to persons or property arising out of or in connection with participation in the event. This is a volunteer role and the host is welcome to cancel if an unforeseen event occurs.
