We recently held our first Queer Placemaking gathering with Bo from PEP, but we know official meetings can sometimes feel intimidating. That’s why we are hosting a second, smaller, and completely informal meetup. No pressure, just community.🙌
What's this all about?
It means actively transforming our urban spaces to be genuinely inclusive. It is about imagining and creating dedicated, queer friendly places where we can safely gather, express ourselves, and feel welcome. The goal is to use our lived experiences to drive concrete changes in city planning. We want to move away from temporary, symbolic inclusion and generate ideas for permanent structural changes, such as new cultural programming, safer spaces, and even exploring the creation of a dedicated Queer neighbourhood.✨
