('TradeXchange', 'we', 'our', or 'us') collects, uses, stores, shares, and
protects information when you use the TradeXchange mobile application, website,
and related services. This policy is tailored for the TradeXchange beta
platform and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before public
launch.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect account information, profile details, contact
information, teaching and learning skills, community posts, messages, ratings,
reviews, session history, profile photos, device information, payment-related
metadata, and translation usage information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information to authenticate users, operate the
platform, match teachers and learners, facilitate live sessions, process
payments, award and deduct credits, improve AI matching, provide translation
services, detect fraud, enforce policies, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Payments
Payments are securely processed through Stripe. TradeXchange
does not store complete payment card information.
5. AI Translation
When enabled by a user during a session, audio may be
processed by trusted AI providers such as AssemblyAI to generate live captions
and translations.
6. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored using Firebase services and protected using
reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards. No system
can guarantee absolute security.
7. Sharing Information
We may share information with trusted service providers only
as necessary to operate the platform (such as Firebase, Stripe, and translation
providers) or when required by law.
8. User Rights
Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of
eligible personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements.
9. Community & Safety
TradeXchange may investigate reports, moderate content,
suspend accounts, or remove material that violates our Terms or Community
Guidelines.
10. Children's Privacy
The platform is not intended for children below the
applicable minimum age. Certain content may require age verification.
11. International Users
Your information may be processed in countries other than
your own, subject to applicable privacy laws.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes
acceptance of the revised policy.
