Director of Partnerships & Institutional Relations — Application

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Director of Partnerships & Institutional Relations will lead ADYH’s external relationship strategy and build an institutional ecosystem across corporations, funders, governments, international organizations, universities, diaspora organizations, speakers, and strategic collaborators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Develop quarterly and annual partnership priorities.

•   Identify priority institutions, sectors, regions, and relationship categories.

•   Own the partnership pipeline, CRM/tracker, and stewardship system.

•   Lead and develop the existing Partnership Liaison and future partnership team members.

•   Oversee corporate, foundation, government, multilateral, university, diaspora, and community partnerships.

•   Develop institutional outreach and follow-up systems.

•   Guide speaker and expert outreach strategy.

•   Develop partnership value propositions and collaboration concepts.

•   Ensure relationships are followed through after meetings and events.

•   Prepare the Founder for strategic meetings with briefs, goals, context, and recommended next steps.

•   Identify opportunities for sponsorships, funding, skills partnerships, programming, and institutional collaboration.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Someone with experience in partnerships, external affairs, business development, nonprofit development, government relations, institutional relations, or a related field who can independently build relationships and lead a team.
