*Discounted Enchanted Library Ball tickets *No vendor may sell blind date with a book as we will be doing that as a fundraiser

*Refund Policy: If you cancel after March 1, 2027, your fee is 100% non-refundable. If you cancel between January 1st and February 28, 2027, your fee is 50% refundable. Any cancellations prior to January 1, 2027, your fee is fully refundable, less a $50 fee.

I understand that, if I am chosen to be a vendor, I will be required to promote the event on my social media platforms, and in person. The event brand manager and marketing and promotions Director will make sure I have promotional material that I can easily use.

If I am selected as a vendor, I am open to participating in promotional activities, such as vendor features on social media, potential podcast interviews, and potential optional pop-up markets where the focus will be on promoting the Book-Con and selling my goods. *Proper notice will be given for these events. (The book-con organizers are open to creative marketing suggestions, as well. Please ensure that you get the Book-Con organizer's approval before beginning any Book-Con related promotions that aren't directly sent by the organizers. We are open to all ideas, but we do need to make sure that everything fits within our mandates and branding.)

I understand that the event venue requires that vendors have their own applicable insurance, listing The Great Canadian Book-Con, The City of Edmonton, and the venue (to be announced shortly) as "also insured." *Duuo.ca offers convenient and affordable event insurance. You only need it for the days of the event. *Please only purchase this once you have been confirmed as a vendor, and we have shared the venue information. *Proof of insurance needs to be emailed to vendors@thegreatcanadianbookcon.ca two weeks prior to the event.

I acknowledge that submission of application does not guarantee a booth at the book-con. I understand that I will be notified by the email I provided as to whether or not a received a booth. I also acknowledge that my booth will only be held once I have made payment. Unless other arrangements have been made, I understand that my table will be held for one week. If payment has not been made by the one-week mark, the event coordinators will need to offer the booth to the next approved person on the waitlist.
