This Release of Liability (“Agreement”) is executed by
__________________________ (“Releasor”) in favor of Asher Weintraub (“Releasee”). This Agreement covers participation in an activity conducted on November 23, 2025, in Middletown, Connecticut, as part of ARST 419: Structures of Subversion.
1. Assumption of Risk.
The Releasor acknowledges that the activity connected to ARST 419 may involve physical, environmental, or situational hazards, including the risk of personal injury. The Releasor voluntarily accepts all such risks, expected or otherwise.
2. Release and Waiver.
In exchange for being allowed to participate, the Releasor fully releases and discharges the Releasee from any claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from injuries, damages, or losses connected to the activity.
3. Indemnification.
The Releasor agrees to indemnify and hold the Releasee harmless from any third-party claims arising from the Releasor’s conduct during the class activity.
4. Medical Treatment.
The Releasor consents to emergency medical care if needed and waives any claims relating to such care.
5. Binding Effect.
This Agreement binds the Releasor and their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns. It is intended to be enforceable to the maximum extent allowed under applicable law.
6. Governing Law.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
By signing below, the Releasor affirms that they have read this Agreement, understand it, and sign it voluntarily.
