The Asparaginase Database: asparaginase entry submission

The Asparaginase Database (https://asparaginasedb.com/) collects asparaginases and related enzymes that have been experimentally characterised in a published paper. These are found in the "Experimentally Studied Proteins" tables.

You will need:
• a published, peer-reviewed paper
• a protein sequence with a UniProt / UniParc / NCBI / other major database identifier
• at least one of the following, determined experimentally:
- Km, kcat, or Vmax
- experimental information on oligomeric organisation
- an experimental structure (PDB ID)

Before submitting, it's worth running your sequence through the asparaginase BLAST tool. It can help you find out whether our database contains similar or identical sequences, or even an identical or similar experimentally studied protein. It can also predict the classification of your sequence within The Asparaginase Database. Whatever the result, we are interested in you submission.
