Child Safety & Location Survey

We’re researching a potential child-safety product for children roughly aged 5–11.

We want to understand how parents currently think about child location, GPS trackers and smartwatches before deciding whether the idea is worth developing.

This should take around 3–4 minutes.

Your responses will be treated confidentially. We do not ask for your child’s name, school, address or exact location, and no identifying information is required to complete the survey.

At the end, you can optionally leave an email address if you would like to hear about early testing or take part in a follow-up conversation.

There are no right answers — negative feedback is just as useful as positive feedback.

A product idea we’re exploring

Imagine a normal-looking child’s wristwatch designed mainly around safety and location.

The child wears it like an everyday watch.

The parent uses an app to see location, receive safe-zone alerts and activate Find Now. The watch could also include a discreet SOS button for emergencies and alert the parent if it is removed from the child’s wrist.

It would deliberately avoid things like games, social media, cameras and unnecessary apps.

Thank you — this is genuinely useful.

We’re using responses like yours to decide whether this idea is worth developing and which features matter most to parents.

If you volunteered for early access or testing, we may contact you as the project progresses.
