Step through the gates of a travelling medieval tavern, where the fires are always warm and the portions are fit for a knight. This isn’t just a food stall, it’s an experience: costumed staff who stay in character, lantern-lit surroundings, tavern games to challenge your friends, and hearty Cumbrian street food to fuel it all. Think giant Yorkshire pudding bowls, bread bowls and loaded jackets, served by a landlord who might just call you “traveller”.
The aim is a place people come to stay, play and remember, not just grab a bite and go.
