Join the BTB Creative Team

Before They Blow is building a creative team of videographers, photographers and editors who want to help document ambitious people before the wider world knows their names.

BTB is currently in its early stage, so these opportunities are presently unpaid and voluntary. In return, contributors will receive visible production credits where appropriate, portfolio material, hands-on media experience, opportunities to build relationships with featured guests and involvement in building BTB from its earliest stage.

We are looking for people who genuinely believe in the concept, want to develop creatively and are excited about growing with the brand.

There is no guaranteed minimum number of shoots or hours. Availability will always be discussed before a project is confirmed.

To begin with, we are aiming to have a star of the month and get into a consistent and high-quality routine of posting. But the goal is to have a star of the week and to get 4 people featured per month.

Section 6: The Unpaid Nature

BTB is currently being built from the ground up. At this stage, creative contributor opportunities are unpaid and voluntary.

Contributors may receive appropriate public production credit, portfolio/showreel material where permitted, hands-on production experience and opportunities to meet and work around BTB guests and the wider creative community.

As BTB grows and generates sustainable revenue, our intention is to develop paid production opportunities where commercially viable, but no future payment or employment is promised by joining at this stage.

Section 7: Confidentiality

BTB works with unreleased guests, content, strategies and commercial information. If you are selected to work with BTB, you may become aware of information before it is made public.
This may include:
- Identities of upcoming guests
- Filming locations and schedules
- Unreleased footage or photographs
- Episode concepts and interview questions
- Internal creative ideas and campaigns
- Business plans, commercial discussions and partnerships
- Passwords, documents, contact details and private information
- Future products, events, launches or announcements
Contributors must not disclose, post, leak, forward or otherwise share confidential BTB information without permission.

I understand that being involved in a BTB shoot does not give me permission to announce the guest, upload behind-the-scenes footage, publish unreleased content or disclose future BTB plans before BTB approves them.

Section 8: Content Ownership

Any footage, photography, edits, graphics or other content created specifically for Before They Blow as part of a BTB shoot or project is intended for use by Before They Blow.

If selected as a BTB Creative, you will be asked to sign a separate Contributor Agreement confirming that the relevant intellectual property rights in content created specifically for BTB are assigned to Before They Blow.

BTB Creatives may use approved clips, images or edits for their own portfolio, social media or professional promotion, but only once BTB has confirmed which content can be shared.

Unreleased footage, raw files, upcoming guest identities, unapproved edits and confidential material must not be posted, shared or distributed without permission from BTB.

I understand that content created specifically for BTB will belong to Before The yBlow, and that I may only publicly use clips or materials that BTB has approved for me to share.
