Volunteer Liability Waiver

I, the undersigned, understand that I am volunteering my services to Strange & Selfless and that I am not an employee. I acknowledge that volunteering may involve physical activity, including but not limited to lifting, loading/unloading trailers, and standing for long periods. I hereby release and hold harmless Strange & Selfless, its officers, and its host venues from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from my volunteer activities. I understand that this release discharges Strange & Selfless from any liability or claim that I may have against the organization with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, or property damage that may result from my services.

Media & Photo Release

I grant Strange & Selfless permission to use my likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media (“photo”) in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications and social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook etc.), without payment or other consideration. I understand and agree that all photos will become the property of Strange & Selfless. I hereby irrevocably authorize the organization to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose, including promoting the nonprofit’s mission and community events.

Code of Conduct & Safety

I agree to represent Strange & Selfless in a professional and respectful manner. I understand that our mission is to serve our neighbors with dignity. I agree to follow all safety protocols provided by event leads and to treat fellow volunteers, vendors, and community members with respect. I understand that the use of illegal drugs or being under the influence of alcohol while performing volunteer duties (outside of designated social hours at appropriate venues) is strictly prohibited.
