The Effortless Learning Accelerator (ELA) is a cohort-based course that teaches you a digital system for learning any complex topic to the point where your knowledge system serves you for years to come. It is designed for knowledge workers, academics, or journalists who want to research vast and complex topics and synthesise their own ideas. You'll learn how to:
- Never forget anything you've read
- Find any note, reference or ideas in seconds
- Go from reading to notes to writing effortlessly, and without ever losing track of references
- Build a customised system that serves your research now, and for years ahead
You will get access to a pre-configured Obsidian vault with 20+ fine-tuned plugins and bases. Over the course of six weeks, we'll learn a digital structure for taking notes, which can easily last for years without losing overview and structure.
My goal is for members of this cohort to have roughly the same challenges, goals, and understanding of digital note-taking. For this reason, I am asking you to fill out this form. I will then email you with an invitation to join.
Obsidian is the digital note-taking tool we are going to use in this course.
Even if you don't use Obsidian, you might have your own system based on pen & paper, Notion, or Evernote. Could you give me a rough idea of how well it works and why you'd want to switch to Obsidian? (If you don't use digital note-taking, you can say so.)
Can also be to build understanding, publish a paper, write a book etc.
It would help to understand what you are working on and see if we can get a cohort of people working in related fields.
If you have any specific struggles or hopes for the cohort, you could briefly outline them. Let me know why you couldn't accomplish it previously. This would also greatly help me decide and communicate better what we should cover.
This would help me to understand how to space the lectures/meetings.
