welcome to heatseekerz, a summer tennis league by tension seekerz.
over the course of the summer, players will compete against a variety of opponents, earn points in the standings, and battle for the trophy.
the heatseekerz summer league is everything you love about tension seekerz, just with more competition and higher stakes. our league is great for those that already have a decent number of sets under their belt. even if you need more practice in match play, this would be a great opportunity for you to improve! however, if you are still relatively new to tennis and don’t know all of the rules yet, we suggest continuing attending our open plays and learn more about the game until you feel ready to tackle league play.
season timeline
july 2026 – september 2026
beginner-intermediate, intermediate-advanced
players are assigned opponents throughout the season. you will play one match per week. matches are self-scheduled between players. scores are submitted after each match. standings are updated regularly. top finishers advance to the postseason.
6-game pro set with tiebreak at 6-6
with each match you play, the amount of games you win will go towards your ranking. for example, if you win a set 6-4, you will earn 6 points towards your ranking and your opponent will earn 4 points towards their ranking. this way, even if you lose a match, you will still earn points. every game counts!
we will offer both beginner-intermediate and intermediate-advanced tiers for singles and mixed doubles. the players with the highest ranking points at the end of the season will be declared champions.
