Help a brother out.đź’™

I just joined the Framer Challenge and starting from 0 → aiming for my first earnings.

Instead of sending long DMs, I made this quick form to learn from you as you are already doing well.

Takes less than 2 minutes. Appreciate your time 🙌

1. Which niche(s) are currently converting best for Framer templates (based on what you’ve seen)?

If possible, share specific examples (e.g. AI agencies, SaaS, real estate, creators, etc.).
Also helpful: which niches look popular but don’t actually convert well.

2. How did you personally decide which niche to go into when you started?

Walk through your actual thinking process, not just the result.
What options did you think about? What made you pick one over the others?

3. What signals or indicators tell you a niche is worth investing in?

For example: search demand, marketplace competition, client demand, trends, etc.
Which signals matter most in your experience?

4. What actually makes a template sell (not just look visually good)?

Thinking beyond design, what drives purchase decisions?
(e.g. positioning, use-case clarity, copy, niche, speed, etc.)

5. What are the biggest mistakes beginners make when building their first template?

Especially mistakes that slow down sales or lead to poor results.
What should someone absolutely avoid early on?

6. If you had to start from zero again, what would be your exact first move?

Assume no audience, no templates, no revenue.
What would your first 7–14 days look like?
.

7. How long should one template realistically take to build (from idea → publish)?

Based on your experience, what’s a realistic timeline?
Also, what usually causes delays?

8. In the beginning, what matters most?

If you had to prioritize one: speed, quality, distribution, or learning, why?
What would you focus on first and what would you ignore?

9. What makes a niche bad or not worth pursuing for templates?

Examples: too saturated, low demand, hard to sell, etc.
What are the red flags?

10. If you couldn’t share your exact niche, what criteria would you use to pick one today?

Consider a framework that can be used repeatedly.

How should someone analyze and decide on a niche from scratch?

11. Do you validate a niche before building? If yes, how?

Examples: content testing, waitlists, pre-orders, engagement signals, etc.
What actually works in practice?

12. Anything you wish you knew earlier?

Could be about niches, templates, sales, or the whole process.
What would have saved you the most time?
