The problem this pilot addresses Every day, Caribbean innovation stakeholders do the work that innovation actually runs on: getting founders ready, building the relationships, creating the momentum. But that work lives in an invisible layer that no current measurement system captures. So your hardest, earliest work too often goes unseen, unproven, and uncredited.

We are changing that with a tool built for us, by us. CARIBEquity is building the Caribbean's regional ecosystem data intelligence layer, a shared evidence base that makes the region's innovation work visible on its own terms. The Data Intelligence Tool is how your organization captures that invisible layer with minimal friction, sees the full picture of what your work is building, and turns your own metrics into intelligence you can act on and report with confidence.

Here is the exciting part. We are opening this as a fully funded regional pilot, and the first organizations in do not just use the tool, they help shape it. Joining the pilot is how you make sure your organization, and your national ecosystem, is represented in the regional picture from day one, and how you put your mark on the framework the whole Caribbean will come to use.

Eligibility - your organization must meet all three

- Organization type: you are one of the eligible innovation stakeholder types listed in the eligible organizations below:

- Innovation stakeholder: An organization or institution that provides essential resources, mentorship, and support to founders and startups, helping them launch, scale, and succeed. For this pilot, an eligible innovation stakeholder delivers that support through a structured cohort or program for founders and startups. Eligible organization types, drawn from the CARIBEquity 2025 ecosystem assessment (scroll to Caribbean Innovation Ecosystem Assessment), are ecosystem support organizations (accelerators, incubators, and innovation hubs), government agencies, financial institutions, innovation networks and communities, academia, innovation programs, venture studios and NGOs. The binding requirement across all types is that they are innovation focused and run a structured cohort or program for founders and startups.

- Startup: An early-stage, innovation-led company focused on scalable, growth-oriented business models.

- Founder: An entrepreneur who establishes and leads a startup, bringing innovative solutions to life.

- Cohort or program: A structured, time-bound group of founders or startups an organization supports together through a defined program of activities.

- Program or cohort: you have run, are running or are about to run, a structured program or cohort for founders and startups in 2026/27.

- Geography: you are based in one of the 15 CARIBEquity beneficiary countries (Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.)

Who this pilot is not for

- Individual founders and startups - The tool measures organizations and the programs they run for their founders and startups, so the applicant is an organization, not an individual venture

- Consultants or service providers without their own programs

- Organizations that do not run a structured program or cohort for founders and startups

- Organizations focused on MSME and traditional business programs

- Organizations outside the 15 CARIBEquity beneficiary countries

- It is not a funding application, a grant, or a general-purpose CRM

If the pilot is not a fit, you can still go on record

Not eligible for the pilot but interested in data and intelligence on the Caribbean innovation ecosystem? Start the application anyway. Answer the first few questions and the form will branch you to a short set instead, so your organization's interest is recorded. Knowing which organizations across the Caribbean want this kind of intelligence, and what they would use it for, is one of the more useful things to come out of this call. It takes about two minutes and it does not enter you into the pilot.

Taking part is fully funded. The application takes about five to seven minutes, and there are no wrong answers - you do not need complete data to take part. Places are limited and awarded by selection.
