Arcane AU Zine - Mod Application

The Arcane AU Zine a for-charity project that explores the different iterations of your favorite Arcane pairings. It often feels as if characters are meant to be in each other's lives, inextricably linked, no matter the circumstances. Here is an opportunity to discover exactly what it would look like for your favorite couples to experience the various obstacles and scenarios an alternate universe can throw at them!
This application is for Writing Mod & Discord Mod. You may apply for one, or both positions.
Due to the nature of the content featured in this zine, the artist applications is only open to those who are over 18 years old.
We are looking for Moderators to fulfill multiple positions for the duration of this project.

Writing Mod Responsibilities:

- Oversee check-ins for all writers

- Assist with prompt/pitch selection

- Provide any necessary/requested feedback for writers

- Work with artists, Artist Mods, and Design Mod on final zine assembly

- Work with Design Mod for word count

- Beta read fics if needed

- Provide basic editing (word count, spelling, punctuation, and grammar)

Discord Mod Responsibilities:

- Look over the server to ensure all participants are following the zine rules

- Give warnings to members who do not follow the rules or issue bans when needed

- Answer questions and be able to guide contributors within the server

We will notify you of the outcome of your application via e-mail. Mod Applications will open until June 26th at 11:59 PM EST (UTC+5.)

We are collecting potential moderator's social media to confirm that you are the appropriate age and actively contribute to fandom in a non-destructive way. As a result, your social media account must be three months old or older.

- Username for your previous account (this account must meet the 3-month or older requirement)
If you do not provide at least one account that meets our requirements, we will not consider your application.

This zine is founded on the philosophy that fiction does not affect reality, and that if you do not like something, you should not read/consume it and curate your own experience in fandom. Do you agree to uphold the same philosophy?

This zine is strictly pro-ship/pro-fiction. Any kink-shaming or anti/fan-cop behavior will not be tolerated throughout any point of the zine and will be met with immediate disqualification from this event, as well as any other events run by anyone part of this mod team.

Modding experience can include fanweeks, exchanges, big/reverse/mini bangs, zines, etc.

Our schedule from the interest check to shipping/distribution will run between May 2026 and around January - March 2027. Dates could be subject to change by 1-2 weeks.
