Backland is a seasonal garden and educational apiary dedicated to redistributing and diversifying beekeeping resources.

The Plant Cunning Conference is a 3-day in-person event featuring speakers, workshops, plant walks, artists, and live music to build community and resiliency with people wise to the ways of Nature at the beautiful Cohosh Creek Herb Farm and Sanctuary in Central New York July 24-26th, 2026.
www.plantcunningconference.com/1. Reduced Rate Weekend Pass Ticket - $185 full weekend pass with the meal plan (which is six meals Saturday dinner to Sunday lunch) and camping included for the Backwoods discount
2. Reduced Rate Saturday Only - $85 join us for Saturday after 9:30am for the full day of classes, evening entertainment and we are including your lunch and dinner meal plan. Let us know if you want to camp out, we probably have space.
