NV Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug, & Gambling Counselors

Stakeholder Feedback Survey

Open 9/7/26 - 9/25/26

Pursuant to Governor Lombardo’s Executive Order 2026-003, the Nevada Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Counselors is seeking input from licensees, interns, supervisors, employers, educators, and other stakeholders regarding existing regulations that may need to be streamlined, clarified, revised, or removed, as well as other regulatory changes that may benefit the professions and the public. The Executive Order specifically calls for stakeholder participation as part of each board’s comprehensive review of its regulations.
In addition to this regulatory review, the Board is taking this opportunity to gather feedback regarding statutes that may warrant consideration during the upcoming legislative session. Please keep in mind that statutory changes require action by the Nevada Legislature and therefore involve a different and generally more involved process than changes to regulations. While the Board may not be able to pursue every recommendation submitted, we are interested in hearing from those working in and affected by the field about provisions that may be outdated, unclear, unnecessarily burdensome, or otherwise in need of review.
Once the survey closes, all feedback received will be compiled and discussed at the Board’s Public Hearing/Stakeholder Meeting on October 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Meeting details and participation information will be available on the Board’s 2026 meeting page: https://alcohol.nv.gov/About/Board/2026/2026/
