1 | About NeoCarbon

At NeoCarbon, our mission is to make industrial infrastructure more resilient by providing carbon-negative solutions. Through a novel direct air capture technology, we upgrade industrial assets to turn waste heat into value and capture carbon.

We are starting with datacenters, supercharging their cooling systems while simultaneously capturing CO2 and water. With proof-of-concept partnerships in place and European and national public grants secured, we are now transitioning from R&D into pilots and early commercial scale with leading datacenter operators across Europe.

2 | The role

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly with the founders at the intersection of business development, fundraising, and strategy to turn early traction into scalable commercial growth.

3 | What you'll do

1. Business Development

- Drive our go-to-market strategy for datacenter customers and strategic partners from the datacenter ecosystem

- Lead early-stage technical feasibility and integration discussions in close collaboration with our engineering team

- Coordinate pilot scoping and commercial structuring with datacenter operators

- Represent NeoCarbon at key industry events across Europe

2. Fundraising

- Support fundraising end to end: investor sourcing, outreach, materials preparation, and due diligence coordination

- Maintain a structured data room and ensure investor readiness at all times

- Help articulate and refine the investment case, including scaling roadmap and financial modeling

3. Strategy

- Develop business cases, pricing logic, and value propositions for datacenter operators

- Structure internal processes and KPIs to support the transition to early commercial scale

4 | What we are looking for

- 2–5 years of professional experience in consulting, VC, or high-growth startup

- Academic background in a technical field (science, engineering, mathematics). A combined background with business is a strong plus as you’ll switch between tech and business conversations

- Strong intrinsic motivation to work on climate solutions

- Solid understanding of the datacenter industry, ideally complemented with a first experience

- Fluent German and English (written and spoken)

- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and proactive mindset. You are a generalist who enjoys taking ownership and making things happen

- Strong commercial instinct: you enjoy sales and building relationships from scratch
