Hiiii! As an indie author myself, it’s important to me that The Lost Story Bookshop is stocked with as many incredible women indie authors as possible. <3

In the future, I hope to source books both directly from indie authors and through Ingram. As the bookshop is currently getting set up, indie titles will initially be considered through consignment.

While I would love to say yes to everyone, shelf space is limited and selections will be curated based on available room, genre balance, and fit for the shop.

If you'd like your book to be considered for our shelves, please fill out the submission form below! I’ll continue doing my best to review submissions as they come in and will be in touch if we have space for your book in its genre section.

What to Include

📚 Your name + author profile (Amazon, Goodreads, StoryGraph, website, or social links)

📚 Book title + brief summary

📚 Genre/audience category (ex: romance, fantasy, literary fiction, memoir, YA, etc.)

📚 Photo of your book cover

📚 ISBN (if available)

📚 Purchasing information: Please let me know whether your book is available through Ingram, direct from you, or both for future purchasing options.

Because shelf space is limited, preference will generally be given to books that are retail-ready and have professional cover design (totally okay if you used Canva yourself ;) ) and formatting. But above all, I’m looking for stories that align with the spirit and mission of the shop.

Selected indie titles may be offered placement through consignment.

General terms currently include:

✨ 60/40 revenue split
(60% to the author / 40% to The Lost Story Bookshop)

✨ Initial consignment period of 90 days

✨ Limited quantities accepted per title

✨ Unsold books may be returned at the end of the consignment period or renewed by mutual agreement

The Lost Story Bookshop will generally price books at or near their current retail/list price, though minor pricing adjustments for in-store sales may occasionally be made.

Please note that submission does not guarantee acceptance or shelf placement.
