Open Call for Proposals: Sessions + Exhibition (Art)works for the KB x AIxDESIGN Program 🎤🖼️

To do this together as a community and burst the bubble of whom and what we already know, we're launching this open call for proposals!

Would you like to be part of the KB (National Library of The Netherlands) x AIxDESIGN program?

Do you have an idea for a performance during the opening, a workshop session you'd like to host as part of the program, an (art)work you're like to showcase as part of the exhibition, or something completely different?

A VJ for the opening night: live visuals to set the tone for the opening event (November 2026), ideally AI-themed or AI-driven, bonus points if it connects to the KB archive or archival thinking

Something for the opening night: a performance, talk, screening, tour, ritual, booth, game, or another experience for the opening event (November 2026)

A session in the events programme: a workshop or another session during the run, hosted once, around 2.5 to 4 hours

An (art)work for the exhibition: existing work in any format (installation, sculpture, zine stand, a corner...), shown in an open public space, so it needs to be sturdy

Something else entirely

The opening night is the launch event in November. The events programme (the randprogrammering) runs alongside the show across the whole three months. (Art)works live in the exhibition space itself. Not sure which fits? Pick the closest or D, and tell us more below.
